Gardening woes
Today, I woke up and wandered outside to feed the cats, and discovered my neighbor's brother chopping down the last stump of what used to be a 10 year++ old blue spruce tree.
Needless to say, I freaxed. I told the guys yesterday evening to get rid of the CREPE MYRTLE BUSH. Those where my words. The CREPE MYRTLE. They are cutting and pruning my yard, which is large and is threatening to turn into a wildlife habitat.
Also needless to say, I told him he was not to cut ANYTHING else in my yard, and to clean up the mess and leave, and to tell his brother I don't want him to cut anything else in my yard EVER.
It's partly the shock of it, not so much that I liked the tree or whatever; but also, damn it, it's my damned yard and he cut EVERYTHING way to damned far back. I liked not seeing my damned neighbors. And also, I just want to say....
Who the hell wants a gardener that doesn't know the difference between a BLUE SPRUCE TREE BLUE SPRUCE TREE and a CREPE MYRTLE BUSH?
